Inward-opening folding door is ideal solution for any balcony or terrace. You can get a large, full opening on balcony without the door or wide open walk-through access in your terrace. We produce wood-aluminium (aluclad) folding door individually to meet required function and size of opening.
Advantages and application
With sash width up to 1100mm and height up to 2400mm, inwards open folding door can achieve up to almost 9000mm in total opening length.
The main advantage of product is to have a regular opening door with the possibility to have a complete-opening glazed structure in full scale.
Folding door glass not only provide perfect outside view, but also ensure large amount of light for interior side, therefore personal-safety, sound insulation, sun & heat control glass suggestions would help to find right balance.

Folding doors are equipped with glass to ensure requested personal-safety, sound insulation, fire safety, Glass can also be painted or covered with MDF panels inside insulated glass unit.

Accessories
Folding doors are inwards opening, function of the windows is provided by GU hardware supplier. Use of high-quality hardware allows to develop up to 130 kg heavy sashes. Folding doors can be equipped with hardware providing safety class RC1-RC3. Requirements regarding child-safety can be met using handles with locks or opening restrictors.
Sash and door handles are used from GU or HOPPE. Standard colors for handles are silver or black.
Active door can be equipped as tilt & turn balcony door or functional entrance door with handles and cylinder locks as on entrance door.
Paint and surface treatment
External aluminium cladding: all colours offered by the RAL, NCS catalogue with different surface finish such as Gloss, Matt, Granite or other texture. Internal wooden part: all colours offered by the RAL, NCS catalogue. Water-based stains and lacquers provide ecological, environment-friendly and natural product look. Most used wood for doors is finger-jointed pine. Oak, mahogany, sapeli and other wood species can be offered to meet client’s expectations and wishes.
Non-finger-jointed option is available for all types of wood.
Wood is warm, well absorbs sound and provides comfort and warmth to the house, meanwhile aluminium is a modern high-technology product that is particularly resistant to external impact, relatively light and does not add a lot of additional weight to window.
